Lead Backend Engineer - Fintech Platform & APIs

Join a growing product team to design and build backend systems powering a newly launched consumer-facing financial service. You will lead core design efforts, working across the full development lifecycle to deliver scalable, high-quality applications used by a large user base.

職務内容

  • Lead basic design (high-level and detailed design) for backend systems
  • Design and build server-side applications using Java and Spring (including Spring Batch)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, infrastructure) to define and deliver new features
  • Develop robust, scalable APIs and batch processes
  • Ensure code reliability through unit testing and edge case validation
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues; continuously optimize applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Support full software lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum team to deliver incremental value



理想の人材

  • 5+ years of experience in server-side development using Java
  • Strong experience with Spring Framework (including Spring Batch)
  • Solid database design and query optimization skills (RDB/NoSQL)
  • Experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Kafka)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
  • Proven ability to work in a team-based development environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex or ambiguous scenarios
  • Business-level English proficiency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile application development or integration
  • Knowledge of web application performance tuning and security
  • Experience with public cloud platforms
  • Experience working in multinational teams
