Our client is a large-scale technology and digital services organization with a strong focus on data-driven innovation. The team is responsible for managing and delivering critical master data platforms that support a wide range of business and customer-facing applications.

職務内容

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate data infrastructure and applications supporting product master data.
  • Build and maintain batch applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop ETL pipelines using Apache Beam and related data processing technologies.
  • Work with cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataproc, Cloud Run, networking components, and infrastructure as code through Terraform.
  • Design and optimize database schemas while improving SQL performance and system efficiency.
  • Manage and troubleshoot services in Linux-based environments using shell scripting when required.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders on detailed design, implementation, testing, and operational improvements.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of data quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • For more experienced candidates, participate in requirements gathering, solution architecture, and system design activities.



理想の人材

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with a strong data focus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Beam (v1.8+).
  • Experience creating batch applications using Spring Boot.
  • Experience building ETL/data processing pipelines using Apache Beam.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and performance-focused development practices.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with GCP services including networking components, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataproc, and Terraform.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, SQL tuning, and performance evaluation.
  • Experience working with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within an engineering team.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Japanese language ability at conversational level or above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI-assisted coding and testing tools.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing platforms such as Hadoop MapReduce.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js or React.
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with TypeScript and/or Python.
