Job Description

  • Lead the national Grid Integration unit and execute the region's growth strategy
  • Oversee tendering, project execution, operations, and site management
  • Ensure strong capability, workforce planning, and skills development across teams
  • Deliver project and operational KPIs including customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost optimization
  • Drive performance improvements and develop action plans for continuous enhancement
  • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and operational integrity
  • Guide and develop cross-functional teams within a matrix environment
  • Represent the unit in strategic discussions and ensure alignment with global direction

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Power/Electrical Engineering; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience across engineering, sales, project management, and site management, ideally in substation or grid integration fields
  • Strong understanding of utility, transmission, and renewable energy markets
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary, engineering-based teams
  • Proven track record in strategy execution and national-level program delivery
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and change-leadership capabilities
  • Analytical, resilient, solutions-driven; comfortable in matrix organizations
  • Business-level English and Japanese required (bilingual ability valued)
