Refer a Friend Terms and ConditionsParticipation in the Michael Page International (Japan) K.K. (“Michael Page”) referral scheme is deemed to be acceptance to these terms and conditions.Only candidates registered with Michael Page can participate in the referral scheme (“Scheme”). This Scheme is not available in respect of a referral by a Michael Page employee, any member of their immediate family, or anyone who is engaged in the employment placement business regardless of form such as an individual or a corporation. To qualify, you must refer to Michael Page an individual who is placed by Michael Page into a permanent or temporary employment role within Japan and who completes three (3) months employment in that role within twelve (12) months from the date of the referral. For the avoidance of doubt, the Scheme will not apply to individuals who are already known to or registered with Michael Page. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can introduce under this Scheme. The individual you referred must have consented to their details being passed to Michael Page. Each candidate who makes the referral will receive a shopping voucher worth JPY 50,000 (inclusive of all taxes and fees) (“Gift Card”). The Gift card is not transferable or redeemable for cash and is subject to the issuer(s)’ own terms and conditions. The individual can only be referred once to Michael Page. If the individual is referred by two people or more, then the referred individual will determine who is eligible for the Gift Card. It is your responsibility to claim the Gift Card by contacting Michael Page consultant and complete the required registration form within two (2) years of referral. You agree that Michael Page is not responsible for any taxes including income taxes as may be required by law arising from you receiving the Gift Card and acknowledge that you are responsible for such taxes. Michael Page’s decision whether or not to award the Gift Card under the Scheme is final and Michael Page makes no representations or warranties as to the quality or suitability of the gift. To the extent permitted by law, Michael Page accepts no liability for any loss or damage or whatsoever which is suffered in connection with your participation in the Scheme or acceptance of the prize. Subject to local regulation, if for any reason this Scheme is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical errors or any other causes beyond the control of Michael Page which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness or integrity, Michael Page reserves the rights in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Scheme. Entry and Scheme details remain the property of Michael Page and its related entities (“PageGroup”). As part of this Scheme we will be collecting personal information for the purpose of conducting this Scheme and for conducting general recruitment and marketing services (including but not limited to determining, notifying and contacting the winner and the referred individual).
