A leading global financial institution with a strong presence across capital markets and investment banking. The firm operates a large, international technology platform supporting trading, risk, and regulatory functions.

Job Description

  • Gather and document requirements across margin calculation, collateral workflows, interest accruals, and regulatory obligations
  • Translate business needs into BRDs, functional specifications, data/process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Analyse global margin rules and assess impact across cash equities, structured financing, and derivatives
  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Manage requirements lifecycle including design review, testing, UAT, and implementation
  • Support project delivery through planning, milestone tracking, RAID management, and reporting
  • Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance analysis, documentation, and efficiency
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and successful delivery across complex initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with technical exposure
  • Experience in financial services, ideally within collateral management
  • Strong knowledge of banking products such as repo, securities lending, and derivatives
  • Proven ability to produce BRDs, functional specifications, and data flow diagrams
  • Familiarity with trade lifecycle and regulatory frameworks
  • Working knowledge of databases, coding, or debugging concepts
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Business-level English required; Japanese is advantageous
