Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities across Japan
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand workforce needs
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and hiring strategies
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from talent attraction through onboarding
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical business functions
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Act as a trusted recruitment advisor, providing market intelligence and hiring recommendations
  • Influence hiring decisions within a matrix organisation
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external vendors
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives in the local market
  • Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring programmes and regional talent acquisition projects
  • Drive process improvements and recruitment best practices
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs, hiring effectiveness, and talent market trends
  • Ensure compliance with local labour regulations and internal policies



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a corporate Talent Acquisition environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience partnering with business functions in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation
  • Proven direct sourcing and talent pipeline development capability
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using recruitment metrics and market insights
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance and employment practices in Japan
  • Semiconductor, industrial, manufacturing, or technology sector exposure is advantageous but not essential
  • Native or business-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills
