Job Description

  • Own the end-to-end credit risk policy lifecycle, including design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging credit and fraud trends
  • Improve forecasting accuracy to support proactive risk and commercial decision-making
  • Collaborate with data science teams to enhance underwriting models and decision engines
  • Develop and refine strategies to balance business growth with risk control and profitability
  • Act as a subject matter expert in risk for new product initiatives and enhancements
  • Translate complex analytical insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Lead or mentor team members, fostering strong ownership and delivery

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years' experience in credit risk, fintech, or financial services
  • Proven experience developing and executing data-driven risk strategies
  • Strong technical capability in SQL and Python (or R)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Business-level English required; additional language skills are advantageous
