Job Description

  • Drive end-to-end reliability across the data platform, from client-side data collection and processing pipelines to backend infrastructure and analytics dashboards.
  • Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve service reliability and translate technical performance into business outcomes.
  • Build and enhance platform automation, Infrastructure as Code, Internal Developer Portals, and CI/CD pipelines to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize platform performance, and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development and incident resolution.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Backend Engineering, or DevOps with a strong software engineering background.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform or Ansible, cloud infrastructure management, and production environments on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala, with experience contributing to production systems.
  • Proven experience defining SLIs/SLOs, improving platform reliability, and utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, automation, and incident response.
