Job Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain BFF services and related APIs that bridge frontend applications and backend systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in large-scale online systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA engineers, and fellow developers, to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Lead technical initiatives and contribute to system improvements, operational excellence, and architectural decisions.



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong Java EE development expertise.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and operating RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale online platforms, including incident management and production troubleshooting.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build pipelines, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Strong ability to independently design and develop high-performance, scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Senior-level engineering experience with the ability to proactively communicate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, and lead projects.
  • Experience developing solutions using container technologies such as Docker.
  • Valid visa inside of Japan

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and developing systems using RDBMS, KVS, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework ecosystem.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing monitoring solutions using tools such as Grafana.
  • Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve software development processes and productivity.
