We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to manage and scale a high-performing QA organization focused on automation, reliability, and software quality across a rapidly evolving digital platform. This role will drive quality strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure robust test automation coverage across backend services, APIs, and customer-facing applications.

Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers, including performance management and career development.
  • Define and execute the overall Quality Engineering roadmap and testing strategy.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites across API, integration, and UI layers.
  • Implement and maintain automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Own quality metrics, reporting, and visibility into product quality and technical debt.
  • Lead release validation and production verification processes.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional discussions.

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA, or Quality Engineering.
  • 2+ years of formal people management or team leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
  • Experience designing maintainable, scalable, and structured test cases.
