Job Description

  • Test mobile application features across relevant devices and operating systems to identify issues before release.
  • Prepare and carry out test cases that cover core user journeys and expected application behaviour.
  • Record defects with clear details, steps to reproduce, and supporting evidence to enable efficient resolution.
  • Verify fixes and complete regression testing to confirm that updates work as intended.
  • Review application behaviour after changes to help maintain consistent quality for users.
  • Work with Technology colleagues to clarify test results and share practical quality feedback.
  • Maintain accurate testing records to provide a clear view of completed checks and open issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Mobile Application QA' should have:

  • Practical ability to test mobile applications and assess expected user journeys.
  • Ability to create clear test cases and follow structured testing steps.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and reproducing software defects.
  • Ability to perform regression testing after application changes.
  • Confidence reviewing mobile application behaviour across devices or operating systems.
  • Ability to communicate test findings clearly with Technology colleagues.
