Job Description

  • Develop and enhance Java-based algorithmic trading applications for a global execution platform.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with Quantitative Analysts and front-office trading teams to deliver new functionality and trading strategies.
  • Provide L2/L3 application support and troubleshoot issues within high-performance, real-time trading systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience developing applications in Java, ideally within a low-latency or high-performance environment.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and support.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, including Quants and front-office users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and support business-critical applications.
