Job Description



HR Operations

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, and offboarding
  • Oversee attendance management and leave administration processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal teams
  • Act as a key contact point for employee HR-related enquiries



Process Improvement

  • Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and operational workflows
  • Drive standardisation initiatives across HR processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and Japanese labour regulations



HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain HR data integrity across HR systems
  • Analyse workforce, attendance, and leave-related data
  • Produce reports and insights to support business leaders
  • Monitor and track operational HR metrics



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of HR Operations experience
  • Strong experience managing employee lifecycle processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of attendance and leave administration
  • Good understanding of Japanese labour law and HR compliance
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and analytical capabilities
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
  • Experience within multinational or large-scale organisations preferred
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English required
  • Chinese language skills would be advantageous
