About Our Client

Our client is a global semiconductor leader with a long‑established presence in Japan. The Japan business is a strategically important market with both corporate and manufacturing operations, operating within a highly matrixed regional structure.

Job Description

  • Own the end‑to‑end HR agenda for Japan, including talent review, performance management, compensation cycles, and workforce planning
  • Act as a trusted coach to senior business leaders, supporting complex people and organisational decisions
  • Partner closely with regional HR leadership to align local execution with APAC and global strategy
  • Drive data‑driven, business‑aligned HR initiatives with strong analytical judgement
  • Lead and influence stakeholders across a matrixed, multinational environment
  • Ensure HR governance, compliance, and employee relations are managed to a high standard



The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience as a senior HR Business Partner or Head of HR in a complex organisation
  • Proven track record supporting senior leaders in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability
  • Comfortable working in a regional or global matrix
  • Experience in technology, manufacturing, or similarly complex industries is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills in a professional business environment
