About Our Client

Our client is a large global technology and digital services organization operating a broad portfolio of consumer-facing online services. This role sits within a product incubation engineering team focused on taking new digital concepts from early development through launch, operation, and scalable growth.

Job Description

  • Develop across the full web application lifecycle, including frontend, backend, CI/CD, infrastructure, release, and ongoing operation.
  • Build modern user experiences with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Develop backend functionality using technologies such as Go, Node.js, or Python.
  • Contribute to architecture and high-level design, including REST APIs, authentication, and relational database schemas.
  • Maintain engineering quality through linting, automated testing, documentation, and development standards.
  • Deploy and operate services using cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS and existing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze application logs, troubleshoot incidents, and implement reliability improvements.
  • Apply AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini to improve development speed and productivity.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders on requirements analysis, estimation, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Maintain clear technical and development documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of web application development experience.
  • Experience with system architecture/high-level design, or the ability to develop effectively from established designs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including linting and unit testing.
  • Backend development experience with at least one of Go, Node.js, or Python.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and authentication mechanisms.
  • Hands-on SQL and relational database experience, including schema design.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and experience with GCP or AWS.
  • Foundational experience with Docker and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering.
  • Experience supporting requirements analysis and estimation, with a track record of delivering projects to schedule.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including application log analysis.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Additional experience with Redis, Grafana, ELK, Terraform, Kubernetes, microservices, service meshes, event-driven architecture, GCP services, web security, or zero-trust principles would be advantageous. Experience working in agile environments, global teams, new-business development, or media, advertising, and marketing technology is also welcomed.
