Job Description

  • Develop and maintain Python-based APIs using Django and Django REST Framework to support data transfer and orchestration services.
  • Build and enhance reliable data movement solutions across storage and messaging platforms such as Hadoop, GCS, S3, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and high-availability system architectures.
  • Follow software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, version control, and continuous improvement of service quality and performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of professional Python development experience, with strong expertise in Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Solid experience working in Linux environments and following software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and version control using Git.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles, with the ability to contribute to efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with experience building scalable, high-availability systems and working effectively in Agile development environments.
