Our client is a well-established investment management organization with a global focus on fund, portfolio, and financial data management. The company operates sophisticated data platforms supporting investment operations, analytics, and reporting across international teams.

Job Description

  • Manage incoming data feeds and monitor daily ETL batch processing activities.
  • Investigate and resolve operational and data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor data events and ensure accurate processing and delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and consistency.
  • Perform data operations through enterprise Data Warehouse platforms, including:
    • Process monitoring
    • Exception handling
    • Master data management
    • User access administration
  • Support ongoing data management and system enhancement projects.
  • Create and maintain operational and technical documentation.
  • Review, maintain, and implement changes to SQL and Python scripts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of investment-related data.



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Windows-based environments.
  • 3+ years of experience in data operations, database maintenance, or related data management functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience supporting ETL processes and data quality controls.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Python knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience with EDM and/or MDM solutions is beneficial.
  • Financial services experience is preferred, particularly exposure to:
    • Fund data
    • Account data
    • Portfolio data
    • Investment operations data
  • Interest in or familiarity with generative AI technologies is an advantage.
  • Business-level Japanese (N1/N2 equivalent).
  • Business-level or lower business-level English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and continuous learning.
