Job Description

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for Fixed Income, collateral, and enterprise risk systems
  • Ensure stability of cross-asset trading platforms and risk data environments
  • Act as a key contact for traders and risk managers on system issues and queries
  • Lead incident management including triage, escalation, coordination, and resolution
  • Analyze production incidents and implement effective remediation solutions
  • Manage problem tracking, change/release deployment, and governance processes
  • Collaborate with global technology teams to improve system performance
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency
  • Support business continuity through proactive monitoring and rapid incident handling



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in STEM or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in application production support (financial services preferred)
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • Java, Python
    • SQL (SQL Server or Oracle, scripting, debugging, stored procedures)
    • UNIX/Linux/Windows environments
    • Job schedulers (e.g., Autosys)
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Scripting and automation skills (Shell/Python)
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a time-critical environment
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical levels
  • Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset
  • Business-level English and conversational Japanese preferred

Preferred:

  • DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker)
  • Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark)
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel)
