Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services that support large-scale data platforms.
  • Build and operate cloud-native applications on GCP while supporting integrations with AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineers to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Improve service reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring, automation, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development and API design.
  • Strong experience developing and operating cloud-based systems, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and software development best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for building production APIs and services.
