This Web QA Engineer role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through hands-on testing, defect investigation, and quality analysis. The position also involves reviewing and supporting existing test automation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Job Description

  • Review requirements, designs, and user journeys to identify gaps, risks, and unclear behaviours early in the development lifecycle.
  • Design, review, and execute functional, regression, exploratory, compatibility, and risk-based tests.
  • Investigate issues using browser developer tools, application state analysis, and test data to determine likely root causes.
  • Review existing JavaScript/TypeScript automation scripts and support basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality reporting activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrates experience in web QA or software testing with a strong focus on quality ownership.
  • Possesses strong analytical thinking, test design, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Can effectively use browser developer tools and produce clear, reproducible defect reports with supporting evidence.
  • Communicates confidently in English and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams while maintaining a continuous learning mindset.
