Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectural patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and release new features while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Conduct code reviews, implement unit tests, fix bugs, and continuously improve application quality and development processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in Android development (5+ years) with proven delivery of at least one published app, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture, with hands-on experience building scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs (Retrofit, JSON) and working with Android SDK, third-party libraries, and modern mobile frameworks.
  • Proficiency in unit testing, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines, with a deep understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and Agile practices.
