Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Rust
  • Build and optimise high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and low-latency processing capabilities
  • Develop secure APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms
  • Contribute to cloud microservices architectures
  • Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams on complex technical challenge

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Rust (essential)
  • Experience building distributed, high-throughput systems
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, ELK, Spark, Flink, Redis, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and microservices
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
  • Cybersecurity, SIEM, or data platform experience is advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international engineering environment
  • No Japanese language skills required
  • Must currently be located in Japan
