This role focuses on leading the basic design and development of scalable, secure Java-based applications powering global incentive and payment platforms. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-performance REST APIs and drive best practices in modern software engineering.

Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust Java applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration across systems
  • Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle
  • Utilize containerization tools (e.g., Docker) for efficient deployment and scalability
  • Design and optimize relational database structures and SQL queries
  • Apply software design patterns to create maintainable and reusable code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve technical challenges
  • Stay updated on Java ecosystem advancements and emerging technologies



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong proficiency in Java development
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework
  • Solid understanding of application security best practices
  • Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Docker or similar container technologies
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Good understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • English: Business level (e.g., TOEIC 800+)
  • Japanese: Not required
