This role is a hands-on Senior iOS Engineer position focused on designing, developing, and improving a large-scale consumer mobile application. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality features while driving best practices in performance, architecture, and scalability.

Job Description

  • Design and build advanced iOS applications using Swift
  • Lead architecture decisions and contribute to system design (MVVM-based)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data flow across systems
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Write and maintain unit tests to improve reliability and scalability
  • Identify bugs and implement effective solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment
  • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to deliver high-quality solutions



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of software development experience with strong iOS expertise
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on Swift development
  • Proven experience delivering and publishing iOS applications
  • Strong knowledge of MVVM architecture
  • Experience with CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD practices
  • Strong understanding of the mobile development lifecycle
  • Business-level English proficiency
  • Ability to collaborate in an international team environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with push notifications and cloud messaging APIs
  • Understanding of Apple design principles and UI guidelines
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Basic Japanese reading skills
