Job Description

  • Lead frontend initiatives from planning and requirements definition through development and deployment
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to define project scope and technical direction
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend applications
  • Build reusable React components and contribute to frontend architecture standards
  • Produce technical specifications, design documentation, and implementation plans
  • Review code, uphold engineering best practices, and support technical excellence across the team
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership for project delivery
  • Present technical proposals, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Drive initiatives that improve development efficiency, quality, accessibility, and user experience
  • Partner with global teams across multiple locations in a hybrid working environment



The Successful Applicant

Experience & Leadership

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Proven track record of delivering frontend projects from requirements gathering through production release
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and QA
  • Ability to manage technical discussions and influence decision-making across teams

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in React, including Hooks, component lifecycle, and modern development patterns
  • Strong TypeScript knowledge, including advanced typing and type-safe development practices
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
  • Experience with modern styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or CSS-in-JS
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing tools
  • Strong understanding of Git workflows and code review practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience writing technical specifications, RFCs, or architectural documentation
  • Familiarity with Jira, Asana, Linear, Notion, or similar project management tools
  • Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer-facing platforms
  • Knowledge of modern React server-side technologies and performance optimization
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and Core Web Vitals
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience supporting internationalization and multilingual applications
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools responsibly
