Job Description

  • Lead design and development of server-side applications (API, batch) using Java
  • Drive system architecture and basic design decisions for scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features
  • Write and maintain high-quality, testable code (unit testing, edge cases)
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving engineering processes
  • Participate in full lifecycle development: requirements, design, build, test, release
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience developing and operating Java-based server-side systems
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (including Spring Batch)
  • Solid experience with database schema design and efficient querying (RDB/NoSQL)
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Kafka)
  • Proven problem-solving skills in complex, ambiguous situations
  • Experience building/maintaining CI/CD environments with Kubernetes
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control tools
  • Experience working in collaborative, team-based development environments

Preferred:

  • Experience in mobile or web application development and operations
  • Knowledge of security and performance tuning
  • Experience with public cloud platforms
  • Experience working in multinational teams using English
