Job Description

  • Design and develop advanced iOS applications using Swift.
  • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features.
  • Implement and maintain applications following MVVM architecture principles.
  • Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Create and maintain unit tests to ensure application quality, stability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  • Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across development processes and tooling.
  • Potentially contribute to Android-related initiatives for candidates interested in cross-platform collaboration.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of software development experience, including extensive iOS development experience.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on development experience with Swift.
  • Strong experience with CocoaPods and/or Swift Package Manager.
  • Proven track record of developing and publishing iOS applications.
  • Proficiency with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Solid experience with iOS SDK, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
  • Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and testing best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle.
  • Business-level English communication skills (equivalent to TOEIC 800+).
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud messaging services and push notifications.
  • Understanding of Apple's iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to read Japanese documentation.
