Job Description

  • Lead backend architecture design and technical decision-making for large-scale web applications.
  • Understand business priorities and deliver high-quality solutions within challenging timelines.
  • Drive end-to-end development including system design, implementation, testing, release, and operational support.
  • Lead projects and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
  • Design scalable and maintainable systems that support future business growth and feature expansion.
  • Monitor production environments, lead troubleshooting efforts, and manage incident reporting.
  • Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and maintain high software quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support operational activities including investigations, inquiries, and platform maintenance.



The Successful Applicant

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Technical Lead experience, including architecture design for high-traffic web systems.
  • Proven experience leading scalable and maintainable system design initiatives.
  • Experience leading production monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting activities.
  • 5+ years of Java and Spring Boot web application development experience.
  • 5+ years of REST API design and development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of JUnit testing and code review practices.
  • Experience with Oracle or MySQL databases.
  • Experience with Tomcat and/or WebLogic.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Git, and Gradle.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Business-level English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with performance, load, and stress testing.
  • Experience using Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • 3+ years of PHP application development experience using any framework.
  • Experience building Kubernetes environments.
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification.
