Job Description

Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end execution of ADAS development projects.
  • Define project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project performance across scope, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage customer communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate project reviews, status meetings, and escalation management.
  • Coordinate activities across global and offshore development teams.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical direction for ADAS systems and embedded software development.
  • Review system architecture, software design, and technical solutions.
  • Support engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Lead requirements analysis, impact assessments, and change management activities.
  • Drive technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive development processes and quality standards.

Delivery & Quality Management

  • Ensure project KPIs, quality objectives, and customer expectations are achieved.
  • Oversee development lifecycle activities from requirements definition through validation.
  • Support root cause analysis, issue management, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance processes, and reporting standards.

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in automotive software and/or system development.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Leader, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing complex automotive development programs.
  • Experience working directly with OEMs and/or Tier-1 suppliers.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
    • Embedded Software Development
    • C++
    • Automotive Software Platforms
    • System Architecture
    • Software Integration and Validation
    • Automotive Development Lifecycle
  • Good understanding of:
    • CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet
    • ECU Development
    • System Verification and Validation
    • Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
    • Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

Communication

  • Business-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to lead customer meetings and technical discussions independently.
  • Experience collaborating with multinational and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in ADAS, autonomous driving, camera, radar, sensor fusion, or related technologies.
  • Experience with global automotive technology suppliers or major automotive development projects.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Previous experience as a Software Architect, Senior Engineer, or Technical Lead.
