Job Description

  • Develop and maintain equity finance / prime brokerage applications
  • Enhance and modernize legacy systems using microservices architecture
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions
  • Perform impact analysis and implement regulatory and market-driven changes
  • Take ownership of application releases, including testing and deployment processes
  • Drive automation, DevOps adoption, and system optimization initiatives
  • Provide support for production issues and ensure system stability



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and Unix/Linux environments
  • Solid database knowledge (e.g., MSSQL or similar)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Perl)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus)
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mock frameworks)
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Japanese is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
