This role is a Product Manager position responsible for internal catalog data-related products.You will work closely with business teams, engineers, and operations to maximise data value across the organisation.

Job Description

  • Support the development of product vision and strategy based on a deep understanding of internal stakeholder challenges
  • Create and prioritise mid‑ to long‑term product roadmaps and short‑term development plans
  • Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional product requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers to define specifications while considering technical feasibility
  • Act as Product Owner or Scrum Master in agile development, leading delivery and progress management
  • Oversee product quality checks and support test planning and execution
  • Work closely with data quality and operations teams to drive operational efficiency and automation
  • Measure post‑launch impact, analyse usage data, and propose continuous improvements
  • Lead alignment and consensus‑building among internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management (experience with internal products or SaaS is a plus)
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile or Waterfall development processes
  • Data analysis experience using SQL and applying insights to product improvement
  • Solid project management skills (planning, progress tracking, risk management, reporting)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Business‑level Japanese communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of large‑scale data or cloud environments is a plus
