The company develops advanced marketing and communication platforms that support customer engagement, campaign management, personalization, and data-driven business initiatives across multiple services.

Job Description

  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and system design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Contribute to lifecycle management initiatives for a large-scale marketing platform and its backend services.
  • Support backend migration and modernization projects, helping improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design, develop, and enhance distributed backend applications using modern software engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, infrastructure, SRE, and platform engineering.
  • Participate in DevOps and operational excellence activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making for platform evolution.
  • Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD processes, and engineering best practices.



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend engineering expertise.
  • Strong programming skills in Java; experience with React, PHP, or Python is advantageous.
  • Solid experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and Git-based development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience designing and building scalable, reliable distributed systems.
  • Ability to work across multiple phases of the SDLC and collaborate effectively with diverse engineering teams.
  • English communication skills suitable for everyday business interactions.
  • Japanese language skills are not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading architecture and solution design across multiple products or services.
  • Experience building and deploying microservices-based platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management experience across complex systems.
  • Exposure to both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
