Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting financial systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and global teams to define technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure stability and performance
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices within the team
  • Ensure systems meet regulatory and security standards relevant to financial services



The Successful Applicant

  • At least 2 years of hands-on Java development experience
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese (minimum JLPT N2 or equivalent) and English
  • Experience or strong interest in financial services (banking, securities, or related)
  • Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a bilingual, cross-functional environment
  • Understanding of system development lifecycle and software engineering principles
