About Our Client

Our client is a large multinational life insurance company with a strong technology investment strategy and an established presence in Japan. The organization is undergoing continuous modernization of its cloud ecosystem to improve operational efficiency, resilience, and customer experience.

Job Description

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Support cloud migration, enhancement, and modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform-related issues.
  • Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and cloud best practices.
  • Work closely with global teams to deliver scalable and innovative technology solutions.



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
  • Fluent Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 level or above) and business-level English.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and operational support.
  • Experience working within enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience within insurance or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
