Our client is a large, global technology company operating a leading performance marketing and advertising platform. With distributed engineering teams across multiple countries, they deliver data-driven solutions that connect advertisers and publishers at scale.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) in a microservices architecture
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs and clean, efficient code
  • Own the full development lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operations
  • Ensure system stability by identifying root causes and leading issue resolution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams in an international environment
  • Propose and implement new technologies to improve system performance and development efficiency



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development within microservices environments
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI, ORM frameworks, and database schema design
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance considerations
  • Proven ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and design scalable systems
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Business-level English proficiency

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
  • Knowledge of performance tuning across infrastructure, OS, DB, and application layers
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Frontend experience (TypeScript, React, Next.js, etc.)
