The organization operates complex, high‑volume ad platforms and serves both internal businesses and external clients at scale, with engineering teams distributed across Asia.

Job Description

Project Execution

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design systems and application architecture
  • Develop, review, and maintain high‑quality code
  • Conduct unit testing, verification, and validation
  • Handle deployments and rollback operations across development, staging, and production environments
  • Monitor systems post‑release and perform ongoing maintenance

Collaboration

  • Work closely with project managers, tech leads, architects, and engineers
  • Partner with dedicated QA and DevOps teams
  • Collaborate with cross‑border, multicultural development teams

Continuous Improvement

  • Gain a deep understanding of products and systems to propose technical enhancements
  • Anticipate future business and product needs and suggest proactive system improvements
  • Explore emerging technologies, including AI tools and models, and contribute to technical roadmaps

The Successful Applicant

Required

  • 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience
  • Strong system design, implementation, and problem‑solving skills
  • Practical experience with Agile/Scrum development
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and ownership‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience performing under pressure in fast‑moving environments
  • Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar)

  • Java (Spring Boot, Spring Batch)
  • MySQL
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Cloud and data platforms (GCS, BigQuery, DataProc)
  • Kafka
  • Git
  • Jira or similar task management tools

Preferred

  • Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto, Tez)
  • Front‑end frameworks (React, Angular)
  • Additional NoSQL technologies (Redis, Cassandra, Couchbase)
  • Test automation (JUnit) and code quality tools (Sonar)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy)
  • Experience designing enterprise‑level data pipelines
