A major multinational technology-led organization operating diverse digital services and building advanced, cloud-enabled data platforms. The team is expanding to strengthen backend development and architecture capabilities for mission-critical data systems.

Job Description

  • Design and implement backend application architecture
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve development workflows
  • Review and enhance code quality across projects
  • Contribute to mid- and long-term product and platform roadmap
  • Conduct research and experimentation with new technologies



The Successful Applicant

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, especially with Java or Golang
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end web development lifecycle
  • Experience designing and building tools based on specific technical requirements
  • Background in microservice development (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud)
  • Experience with RESTful design, unit testing, integration testing
  • Proficiency with SQL and modern relational databases
  • Experience with Redis or Memcached
  • CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and public cloud environments
  • Experience with performance optimization
  • Ability to work effectively within distributed teams

Nice to Have:

  • Python-based tooling development
  • Airflow (DAGs, operators), ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience building or maintaining data platforms
  • Familiarity with large-scale data systems (BigQuery, Trino, Spark, Hive)
  • Data governance and security knowledge
  • Experience with throttling, QoS, or stress testing
  • Messaging systems experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
