Job Description

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and enterprise technology.

Position Summary

  • The Value Consultant will partner closely with enterprise sales teams and C-level stakeholders to articulate, quantify, and realise measurable business value from large-scale SaaS investments.
  • You will drive structured value discovery, build executive-ready ROI and TCO business cases, and support strategic decision-making across complex customer organizations.
  • This is a highly visible, consultative role with direct exposure to CXO leadership.



Business Value Strategy & Execution

  • Drive measurable ROI and strategic value realisation for enterprise SaaS customers
  • Conduct Business Value Assessments to identify financial and operational impact
  • Quantify improvement opportunities and define value realisation roadmaps
  • Ensure customers can identify, measure, and capture the full value potential of their investment



ROI & Financial Modeling

  • Develop detailed ROI and TCO models tailored to customer environments
  • Build board-ready financial business cases with granular KPIs and documented benefit rationale
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into tangible financial and operational outcomes
  • Support customers' investment decisions through data-driven analysis



Executive Engagement & Storytelling

  • Influence and engage CXO-level stakeholders through value-based selling
  • Facilitate Value Workshops with cross-functional leaders (Business & IT)
  • Present strategic narratives that connect technology transformation to business outcomes
  • Enable executive alignment on transformation priorities and target operating models



Sales & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner with account executives to support account planning and value-focused engagement strategies
  • Contribute to complex enterprise sales cycles through structured business value conversations
  • Align value messaging with customer pain points, industry dynamics, and strategic initiatives
  • Methodology Development
  • Enhance and evolve value consulting methodologies, frameworks, and collateral
  • Support internal capability building and best-practice sharing



The Successful Applicant

  • 8-15+ years of experience in Value Consulting, Strategy Consulting, Value Engineering, or Enterprise SaaS pre-sales
  • Strong experience driving ROI/TCO analysis within complex enterprise environments
  • Track record of influencing senior executives on strategic investment decisions
  • Strong and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into strategic business outcomes
  • Japanese (native); English (business level)
