This is an HR Manager role with 1 subordinate doing HRGA operational work. This role will require closeknit communication with local and regional stakeholders to align HR practices with the direction of the business.

This newly created role will support the organisation in creating and establishing key HR processes and strategy for the firm in Japan. Initially, there will be a focus on Compensation & Benefits and Talent Acquisition planning and operations. The firm offers a very international environment with a multinational senior management team, with which the successful candidate will work very closely.

As a senior HR Manager, the responsibilities in this role will include enhancing the organisation's branding through various recruiting activities as well as partnering closely with the business. From planning to implementation, you will oversee the different recruitment strategies and activities and help to drive change while reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources and engaging with regional and local stakeholders.

Our client needs an experienced HR professional with strong Generalist skill set. In this role, they will be a near-term emphasis on onboarding and operations, with longer term emphasis on driving culture and supporting employee engagement. This will be a critical role within the company, working through complex issues, transactions, both independently as well as collaboratively throughout their business.

The position would include providing support in all HR issues including processes, compensation and benefits, payroll and learning and development. Improve existing HR processes based on employee feedback.
