Our client is a global manufacturer of wind turbines, a rapidly growing renewable energy solution. As one of the largest manufacturers in its field globally, the company is experiencing rapid growth. The Japan office has nearly 100 employees and is located in Central Tokyo.
職務内容
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations by aligning demand planning, supply planning, inventory control, and delivery functions while optimizing costs and mitigating risks
- Manage regional team of over 10 people by creating KPIs, providing coaching, and develop succession plans
- Manage supply chain operations for multiple countries and communicate with respective regional functions to align on overall supply chain strategy for each responsible country
- Liaise with Sales and Engineering stakeholders to align on overall business strategy and cost saving targets
- Engage with outsourced procurement and logistics vendors to optimize delivery solutions in Japan and overseas markets
理想の人材
- Minimum 10 years of end-to-end supply chain management experience
- Experience in B2B manufacturing experience preferred
- People management experience
- Fluent Japanese language skills with business level English skills
- Familiarity with energy industry preferred (or willingness to learn)
