About Our Client

The client is a global conglomerate renowned for its diverse portfolio in technology.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage and oversee the entire HR spectrum, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
  • Partner with senior management and department heads to identify HR needs and provide strategic HR support.
  • Facilitate a high-performance culture through effective performance management and employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining best practices in HR.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives that support the business's expansion and growth in Japan.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
  • At least 10 yrs. of progressive HR experience in a multinational company in Japan
  • Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and provide strategic HR guidance.
  • Experience working in the IT industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
