About Our Client

A multinational manufacturer of power tools, accessories, hardware, home improvement products, home appliances and fastening systems. With a large manufacturing plant based in Aichi they are looking to grow and expand in the near future.

Job Description

* Strategically lead and fully execute key HR Initiatives to support the business

* Influence decision-making with leaders and key business partners

* Translate strategical concepts into actionable and effective plans

* Provide the full range of day-to-day HR support for the plant, including staffing, employee relations, performance management, organizational development/continuous improvement, benefits, compensation and training & development.

* Identifies opportunities for improvement in internal processes and makes constructive suggestions for change.

* Manage all employees relations. Coach and counsel employees and managers in addressing interpersonal and behavioural challenges.

* Assist in the interpretation and application of company policies through effective guidance for managers and employees, ensuring compliance with local labor requirements/ regulations.

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.

* At least 5 years of progressive HR experience to include leadership

* Working knowledge of employment law and industry best practices.

* Capable of influencing plant/business leaders to drive HR initiatives.

* Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization.

* Must possess excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills

* Results oriented mindset with ability to prioritize and complete projects.

* Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate others

* Must be professional and customer focused

* Ability to manage confidentiality at all levels
