Job Description

  • Developing, maintaining and utilising excellent customer understanding for assigned accounts
  • Understanding customer's business and strategy, key stakeholders and decision process
  • Proactively maintaining and developing relationship with existing and new customers
  • Developing, maintaining and utilising market understanding of competitors, market trends locally and globally
  • Closing services sales opportunities by successfully managing the sales process from beginning to end
  • Generating new opportunities & leads based on customer, competitor and/or market understanding
  • Ensuring high quality, consistent & timely communication with customers throughout the sales cycle

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors / Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Energy
  • Bachelors / Masters in technical area with relevant commercial experience or strong commercial affinity
  • Relevant experience in the following areas of advantage B2B sales environment, ideally in heavy industry and/or energy sector
  • Good communication in both English and Japanese
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, including time management and coordination of key stakeholders
  • Good MS office skills, especially Power Point and Excel
