Job Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using modern programming languages such as Python and Rust.
  • Develop and deploy cloud‑based infrastructure and services using AWS, IaC tools like Terraform, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement reliable CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using tools like GitHub Actions to ensure smooth delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze complex technical problems to optimize algorithms, enhance system performance, and integrate with data‑driven or geospatial solutions when required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Brings strong backend engineering expertise with 5+ years of hands‑on experience, particularly in Python and/or Rust, and excels at building reliable, scalable systems.
  • Demonstrates solid cloud proficiency, including AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, with the ability to design, automate, and maintain modern infrastructure.
  • Shows strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, capable of optimizing algorithms, improving system performance, and navigating complex technical challenges.
  • Possesses good software engineering fundamentals, including version control, CI/CD practices, and familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions-with bonus strengths in areas like orchestration (Airflow/Dagster) or geospatial technologies.
