The client is a Fortune 500 US Tech company with over 500 employees in Japan.

職務内容

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll, tax and social insurance process for 500+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any payroll-related issues.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, deductions, and tax information.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Liaise with external payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage payroll audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

理想の人材

  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
  • Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience (vendor and/or in-house) for at least 500 people
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
