Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all general accounting procedures (AP/AR/GL)
  • Perform end-of-period closing activities (Monthly/Annually)
  • Handle fixed asset tracking and maintain cash balances
  • Prepare and present inventory reports
  • Prepare and submit tax and audit reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be preferred
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese at least Business level
  • Experience with general accounting, closing, fixed asset management, cash balance maintenance, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
