We're hiring a Sales Manager for a rapidly growing freight forwarding technology startup. You'll be based in either Tokyo or Osaka, leading B2B sales in the logistics and supply chain sector while driving the digitization of international trade in Japan.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term strategic sales plans
  • Set, track, and achieve KGI/KPIs
  • Optimize B2B customer acquisition across the freight and logistics space
  • Hire and train top-performing logistics sales reps
  • Build relationships with logistics managers, shippers, and trading companies
  • Negotiate freight rates and close annual contracts
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have:

  • B2B sales management experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
  • Knowledge of international forwarding practices
  • Experience working with data to create sales strategies
  • Japanese fluency (business level)



Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in a logistics tech startup or SaaS environment
  • Sales background in carriers, trading houses, or manufacturers
  • Overseas work or team-building experience in global organizations
  • Fluent English or Chinese is a plus
