Our client is an international privately owned shipping company.

Our client is looking for a talent who can play a Sales Representative role in the Account Sales - Breakbulk Sales
team. In this position, you will be at the forefront of account management customers, and the mission of
this position is to appeal the RORO vessels to customers and sell our client's shipping service.Our client's main customers are major precision machinery and machine tool manufacturers. The position's responsibilities are existing customer sales (account management) and developing new customers for break-bulk (heavy lift) cargo. This position is required to increase break bulk cargo sales by taking the initiative in sales activities and providing value-added proposals to existing and new customers, as well as identifying additional business opportunities and contributing to the overall growth of our business.This position requires the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing market and to assist the Manager in
maximizing the team's strength.

Annual salary scheme

  • Annual basic salary: 6.5〜7.5 million yen
  • Estimated annual income *2 : 8.0~9.2 million yen
  • Annual basic salary +Estimated overtime allowance (20 hrs per months) + Prepaid retirement allowance (JPY25,400/ month)
  • Annual salary review (4/1)

職務内容

  • Collect information necessary for customer account management, analyze the situation, and reflect it in
    the customer management plan.
  • Properly understand customer needs, comprehensively analyze profitability and other factors, and share
    information within the company in an appropriate manner.
  • Improve the customer experience by properly understanding customer feedback and sharing it with
    relevant parties in a timely and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for booking situations or potential issues related to customers and
    find the best solution for the customers.
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional projects related to new business.
  • A willingness to constantly challenge the status quo and look for opportunities for improvement, without
    sticking to current procedures or existing practices.

  • Experience in the Shipping or Logistics industry is required
  • Strong Command of English - ability to debate conceptual/intangible topics in English and native-level Japanese
  • Communication skills (ability to select appropriate communication for each situation and communicate clearly and concisely)

  • Team player, ability to collaborate
  • Flexibility to adapt to change, problem-solving skills
  • Analytical and numerical reading skills (ability to understand numbers correctly and use them in sales
