About Our Client
Our client offers a wide variety of process safety and protection devices. It all started with the design of the first rupture disk in 1931, and since then the product offering has expanded and divided into 6 business units - Rupture Disk Devices, Safety Relief Valves, Buckling Pin Valves, Flame Arrestors, Explosion Protection, and Wireless Instrumentation.
Our client has been present in Japan since 1980 when Niigata Engineering started distribution of its products. In April 2003 a local subsidiary was established near Yokohama.
Manage existing accounts, including but not limited to EPCs, nuclear power plants, construction firms and process industry end users, which would include the generation of new business through technical presentations and advice.
Generate new customer base through independent development of opportunities as well as following up on leads generated through various sources.
Interact with customers to close sales, answer questions and build confidence in the products and the Company, through ongoing field sales visits and regular sales meetings and reviews.
The Successful Applicant
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
Strong organisational ability and detail oriented
Ability to work independently and travelling extensively within Japan (approximately 40-60%) and periodically outside Japan for meetings and training.
