Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Japan, especially within manufacturing and machining industries.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Visit customer sites, understand technical needs, and propose suitable tooling solutions.
  • Handle the entire sales process-from initial contact and quoting to order management and after-sales support.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and operations teams to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer demos, and industry events.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous B2B sales experience, preferably in machine tooling, cutting tools, machining, or industrial materials products.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical sales.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for customer visits.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a small team environment.
  • Fluent communication in Japanese with customers and English with internal teams
